The bundled Microsoft certified Windows Media Center remote can be used to control Windows Media Center in Windows Vista Premium/Ultimate. It can also be used to control ComproDTV4 ComproDVD2 and ComproFM2.

With the Video Desktop feature, you can stream live TV shows as the wallpaper, PIP function is also supported. This way, you can enjoy your favorite TV show while working with your applications.

Timeshifting

Timeshifting temporarily saves the video for a user-defined amount of time on to the hard disk. You can then replay the show without disrupting the recording process.

The VideoMate Vista E800F built-in the advanced high-quality silicon tuner and professional media processor chip provides more vivid, less noisy, and sharper picture quality that outperforms standard TV sets.

• Noise Removal– Effectively remove noises resulted from weak TV signals or poor cablings.
• Deinterlacing– Traditional analog TV system is broadcasted in interlaced mode, which only sends out the odd or even lines of a picture at anytime. The TV set then displays the images at twice the frame rate and fools our mind into thinking they are complete images. However, the end results are often less desirable and users often notice flickers in pictures. Compro VideoMate fixes this problem with its special deinterlacing technique.
• Video Smoothing– When playing back on high resolution monitors, the video will appear aliased (or jagged). Aliasing is the stair-step effect on the edges of objects and can be extremely distracting for the PC user. The video smoothing technology smoothes out the edge pixels and provides a more pleasing picture.
